Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has slammed Azimio la Umoja chief Raila Odinga over his calls for mass action.
Speaking today at AIC Nandi Gaa during a thanksgiving service of Mr..Amon Kibet, the County boss said it will be impractical for the former premier to continue holding the country at ransom based on his personal agenda.
Bii was categorical that Raila should instead use his experience to offer wise counsel to the government and shun calls of engaging in politics of the past while seeking for another handshake with President William Ruto.
“The premier seeks to get into government through the backdoor as he did during the late President Mwai kibaki’s regime and retired PresidentUHuru Kenyatta’s regimes, Rutos leadership is different ,He will not allow for that to happen ,Kenyans especially those in Uasin Gishu County are busy building on national Cohesion especially following what happened in 2007”Said Governor Bii.
The County Boss has advised opposition leader to desist from any attempts to organize for mass Action in the Presidents backyard, saying no citizen will be willing to engage in such demonstrations against a president they willingly elected
