MTRH Mobilizes Medical Experts and Ambulances to Aid Baringo Referral Hospital in Response to Tragic Kapsabet Boys High School Bus Accident

According to reports, at least eight students were referred to MTRH for further treatment. The students are currently in stable condition.

The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) has dispatched a team of medical specialists and ambulances to Baringo Referral Hospital to assist doctors in addressing a medical emergency, as established by Hubzmedia.

The emergency follows a tragic accident involving Kapsabet Boys High School students along the Kabarnet-Marigat road.

According to Dr Phillip Kirwa the acting CEO MTRH ,at least twelve students have been referred to MTRH for further treatment. The students are currently in stable condition.

“ We sent a team of specialists doctors, medical officers, nurses, plaster technicians, and assorted surgical and medical supplies to assist the patients. 12 students have been referred to MTRH for more specialized care”Stated Dr Kirwa.

Meanwhile, other injured students are receiving care at Kabarnet and Marigat Mission Hospitals. Medical personnel at all the facilities are working diligently to ensure the well-being of those affected.

This accident has understandably caused a great deal of distress. Various leaders, including Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wesley Rotich, have expressed their condolences to the Kapsabet Boys fraternity. Their messages of support offer solace to the affected families and the entire school community during this difficult time.
