Kenya emerges second in the Rugby Africa Cup after their 52-3 win against Cameroon to qualify for the third tier of the newly introduced World Rugby WXV as South Africa who were the champions qualified for the second tier of the same tournament.

Kenya’s win against Cameroon set a spark in their hope to qualify as they awaited the loss of Madagascar to South Africa who are unbeaten in the tournament.

The Kenya women’s team are now sure of their qualifying after the Madagascar’s 79-3 loss to South Africa.

The games have been in favor of the South African team as they come out of the tournament with the trophy and a triumph of being unbeaten in any of their games as they heavied all their opponents and snatching wins from them.

The Kenyan team only lost their game against their long time Continental rival South Africa but later redeemed themselves with their great win against Cameroon as they proved not easily shut down by a single loss and now set to get high challenges from other international teams.

This victory comes days after the Kenya Simbas withdrew from the Currie cup challenge due to financial constraints.
