The Kenya Kwanza administration remains committed to financial inclusion, market expansion, and value addition as key drivers of national economic transformation, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi said during a visit to Mbeere South, Embu County, Monday, July 28, 2025.
Speaking during a community engagement event, Mudavadi emphasized the role of a digitally empowered government in promoting transparency, enforcing accountability, and ensuring public resources are efficiently allocated. He said such systems help direct development efforts to where they are needed most.
“A digitally empowered government is central to this vision,” Mudavadi said. “It strengthens transparency, enforces accountability, and ensures that public resources are efficiently directed to where they’re needed most.”
Mudavadi reaffirmed the Kenya Kwanza government’s commitment to equipping citizens with tools and knowledge for sustainable enterprise and job creation. He noted that grassroots empowerment would be pivotal in lifting livelihoods and promoting inclusive national development.
He also urged fellow leaders to adopt humility and integrity in their service to the nation. “Let us speak to Kenyans with decency, lead with purpose, and invest in nurturing a new generation of leaders — ones who rise above tribal lines and personal gain,” he said.
Emphasizing unity and inclusive leadership, Mudavadi called for governance anchored in constitutional values and responsive to public feedback. He said engaging citizens and listening to their concerns would be essential in shaping a government that works for all.
“Constructive feedback is not just welcome — it is essential,” he said. “Together, we can build a future that reflects the voice of every Kenyan.”
