ICT Cabinet Secretary Owalo urges Nyanza residents to work with current regime

Information and ICT Cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo, has challenged leaders and residents of the former Nyanza province to work closely with the new Kenya kwanza Government for their own good.
The minister has said that, there is much benefit in supporting and collaborating with the government, compared to opposing for the sake of it
Speaking on Friday, when he officiated the distribution of relief food to residents of Fort Tenan , in Muhoroni, Kisumu county, Owalo defended the ongoing relief distribution, saying that residents of Nyanza also suffered the effects of the dry season hence they deserve the relief share from that national government
Owalo , has insisted that the campaign period is long over, and that the area leaders such as Governors and other elected officials , should find a way of supporting President William Ruto, to have a common approach in delivering their respective promises to Kenyans
Apart from the ongoing relief distribution, minister Owalo said that the Kenya kwanza regime has a clear road map designed from the initial public engagement that would see to it that they achieve various developments
Amongst the key sectors identify, in the long term development plans, Owalo has indicated much attention shall go towards bettering the Sugar sector, Infrastructure improvement, Mining , Fisheries, Agro processing amongst other listed
He said that “The president has already proclaimed himself severally to the effect that his Kenya kwanza government is going to serve all, Kenyans equally, irrespective of how they voted, and therefore the Nyanza region needs to thank and support him, for that
Owalo while addressing the residents of Muhoroni, said Already Nyanza has started benefiting from the positive gestures from the Kenyan government, citing the cabinets first accenting to approval of the multibillion fisheries research center set to be built around Kano plains within Kisumu County, that would be a big boost to the fisheries sector
He insisted that the Kenya Kwanza Government has already extended an olive hand, and that it is now incumbent for the people of Kisumu, Siaya, Homabay, Migori, Kisii and Nyamira to reciprocate ,
