Hubzmedia Journalists Feted with Awards at Safaricom Media Engagement Dinner in Eldoret
Hubzmedia cameraman and media trainer Augustine Were receives a mobile phone from Safaricom during the media engagement dinner held at Eka Hotel on Monday.
Safaricom PLC hosted a special media engagement dinner for Journalists in Eldoret Monday as part of the ongoing Sambaza Furaha Caravan where Hubzmedia Journalists were Feted with Awards .
The event, part of Safaricom’s 24-year mission of transforming lives, also highlighted the Caravan’s journey through the Rift Valley, bringing joy to communities with recent stops in Kapkatet, Litein, Ngoina Road, and Kabianga.
During the dinner, Journalists encouraged Safaricom to support initiatives focused on mental health and gender-based violence awareness among journalists. Hubzmedia journalists received essential tools such as mobile phones and power banks to support their work.
The evening captured the spirit of the Sambaza Furaha Caravan, celebrating Safaricom’s commitment to empowering and uplifting communities across Kenya.
