The disputed property is part of the 92 year old Mzee Michael Siror’s 716 acres Tunen farm located along the border of TransNzoia and Uasin Gishu Counties.

Speaking to the media yesterday, Kidulah said that she acquired the prime parcel of agricultural land more than 20 years ago from Stephen Sugut who was a former security aid of the late President Daniel Moi.

Kidulah, who also served as Chief Magistrate in the Kanu era, explained that she acquired the property after entering into a sale
agreement with Sugut and fulfilled all legal obligations over the purchase of the said disputed land.

She was reacting to an incident where a gang of youths armed with bows and arrows allegedly on instruction of the elderly tycoon, stormed the disputed land, and brought down the fence in a daring daylight
invasion that caused tension and anxiety.

The tycoon is said to have deployed a tractor to plough the land as the marauding youths stood by on the fence to provide tight security
as scores of villagers rushed to the scene to have a glimpse of the unfolding drama.

There was more drama when Kidullah, on being informed about unusual activities in the parcel of land which she claims ownership, rushed there with the aim of stopping the ongoing farming activities.

“I bought this 20-acre parcel of land from Stephen Sugut who was a former aid of the late President Daniel Moi and I do not know how Mzee Siror is coming in to claim that he owns the same land,” she said.

She however confessed that she has no title deed for the same property.

According to Kidullah, the tycoon was a stranger to her and that she has never dealt with him on any issue related to land matters except the former late Moi’s security aide.

Kidullah claimed that when she arrived at her land after being alerted about the unusual activities that were going on there, she was made with hostile youths forcing her to flee the scene.

“I was forced to leave the place in a huff due to the hostile environment that I was in there and went to report the invasion of my
land at Kachibora police station, ” Kidullah said.

She added that she will be moving to court to face off with the tycoon over the disputed parcel of land after lodging her complaints with police.

But in a rejoinder, Mzee Siror declared Kidullah, a stranger in his property and vowed to ensure that she does not claim back the property which he claims was part of his vast 716 acres of land.

property after she left the powerful docket of DPP,” Mzee Siror added.
