For Sam, running a phone accessories and repair business is more than just a way of earning a living. It is a responsibility that enables him to support his daughter and provide for his family.

Sam sells various phone accessories and also offers repair services to customers. Despite the challenges facing his business, he chooses to report to work every day, believing that even a small income can make a difference in meeting his family’s needs.

“Even if I make a little money, I still prefer to come to work every day,” Sam says. His main motivation is his daughter, whom he supports through the income he earns from the business.

However, Sam says the increasing cost of goods has made it difficult to run his business. Prices of phone accessories have gone up, forcing him to charge more for his products and services. This has also resulted in complaints from customers who feel that the accessories and repair services are becoming too expensive.

“Customers complain that the prices are too high, but the prices we buy these items at have also increased,” he explains.

According to Sam, taxes contribute to the rising prices of phone accessories. He is calling on the government to consider reducing taxes on such commodities, arguing that lower taxes could help businesses offer more affordable prices to customers.

“If the government reduces taxes, the prices of commodities can also come down,” Sam says.

Despite the difficulties, Sam says the business gives him a sense of satisfaction because it enables him to earn something and take care of his family.

“What makes me happy is getting some income that allows me to provide for my daughter and my family,” he says.

For Sam, every day at his business represents another opportunity to earn a living and keep his family going, regardless of how little he makes.
