Eric Omondi Stands with Boniface Kariuki’s Family, Urges Kenyans to Help
Omondi noted that Kariuki comes from a very humble background and pledged to stand with the family as they navigate the challenges ahead.

Eric Omondi has expressed his solidarity with the family of Boniface Kariuki, calling on Kenyans to support them during this difficult time.
Omondi noted that Kariuki comes from a very humble background and pledged to stand with the family as they navigate the challenges ahead. He urged well-wishers to contribute whatever they could to support Kariuki’s treatment and recovery.
“We want to support them with the hospital bill, start a business for the father and mother, and also assist Boniface once he recovers,” Omondi said.
He went on to ask members of his “Team Sisi Kwa Sisi” initiative to send their contributions directly to Kariuki’s mother.
“Please send whatever amount you can to the family via the mother’s number: 0700 463 254 (Susan Nyambura),” he added.
Kariuki’s parents also appealed to the public for help during this trying time.
“I don’t have much to say, but I’m pleading with Kenyans to support us — not just financially, but also with prayers for our son’s recovery,” said Kariuki’s mother.
Since the shooting incident involving Boniface Kariuki went viral, Omondi has been vocal in his support for the family. He has called on Kenyans to participate in a solidarity walk in Kariuki’s honor, after he was shot during Tuesday’s protest.
In a statement posted on X, Omondi urged Kenyans across the country to wear masks this Friday in a show of support.
“I’m calling upon Kenyans all over the country — this Friday, let’s all wear masks in solidarity with our brother Boniface Kariuki,” he said.
Team Sisi Kwa Sisi is an initiative founded by Omondi to offer comfort and assistance to grieving families and individuals facing serious challenges.
Since its inception, the initiative has helped families by covering medical bills, constructing homes, launching small businesses, and offering emotional support.
