Endo Ward MCA Jeremiah Biwott is Dead

Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Wisley Rotich has confirmed the death of Endo Ward Member of County Assembly, Hon. Jeremiah Toryebe Biwott.
Throughout a statement communicated at Nairobi Hospital and with the family’s consent, Governor Rotich disclosed that Hon. Biwott died during treatment, thus the people of Endo Ward and the whole County of Elgeyo Marakwet have lost a great figure.
The governor Rotich acknowledged the late MCA as a faithful and relentless leader who victorious in the elections of 2022, and since then has been serving the people of Endo Ward with dedication and honesty.
“Honorable Jeremiah Biwott was a hardworking public servant and his entire tenure was marked by his passion for development, education, as well as community empowerment. His death is a big loss of the county assembly and the people of his constituency, ” said the governor.
The governor extended his sympathies to the family, friends, teachers, local leaders, the Speaker of the County Assembly, fellow MCAs, residents of Endo Ward, and the entire community of Elgeyo Marakwet County.
He encouraged the locals to emotionally support the family during this hard time and likewise called on them to unite and pray.
“Thank you very much. I am requesting all our people to continue praying for the family as they come to terms with this harsh loss, ” the governor said in Kalenjin language.
