Police officers in Eldoret have initiated an investigation into a troubling incident involving the alleged gang rape of a high school student at Kapsoya Mixed Secondary School. The incident reportedly occurred within the school compound on Thursday evening, raising significant concerns within the community.

 

Preliminary reports indicate that the student was allegedly dragged by three fellow students to two male perpetrators, who were involved in committing the act. After the victim alerted a teacher on duty, swift action was taken. The school administrators promptly informed the victim’s parents, highlighting the immediate support needed in such a grave situation.

 

Following the report, the student was taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, where she is currently receiving medical treatment. The case has been formally reported to Naiberi Police Station, where investigations are actively ongoing.
