Eldoret golf club to host Eldowas Pro- Am golf tournament

Eldoret golf club will be the host of Eldoret Water and Sanitation company (Eldowas) Pro- Am golf tournament this weekend at par 71.

The two days event that starts on Saturday 12th and ends on Sunday 13th November has attracted both professional and amateur golfers.

The tournament will be a bruising battle since golfers will be playing for a prize money .

The event has been sponsored by Eldowas, who have been top spenders on sports in North rift region supporting to nurture talents.

Theme of the tournament is “Linda maji mtaani” which is to sensitize the local community on addressing commercial and physical water loss.

“We are using sports to create public awareness on the need to ensure we faithfully pay for the water consumed, urging the public to report any cases of water theft and or any illegal connections “Said Peter Kibett Biwott Md Eldowas.

There will be more than 30 professional golfers on the event.
