CS Murkomen Leads Condolence Visit to PS Korir Sing’Oei’s Family in Trans Nzoia

Kipchumba Murkomen, the Interior and National Coordination Cabinet Secretary, led a delegation of both national and local leaders to Kobos in Trans Nzoia County to deliver his heartfelt condolences to the family of Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Korir Sing’Oei, due to the death of their father, Mzee John Kibiego Ole Sing’Oei.

CS Murkomen noted that during the visit, the team had come to offer sympathy and support for the family in its time of loss and mourning. The visit was in solidarity or to share in the family sorrow as colleagues, friends, and citizens.

“We came together with other leaders to visit the family of my friend, Dr. Korir Sing’Oei, to offer our sincere condolences and to let them know that they are not walking this painful journey alone”. The CS further warned that the death of Mzee John Kibiego Ole Sing’Oei is a heavy blow to the family and the wider community to whom he belonged”.

Cabinet Secretary Murkomen described the late Mzee Sing’ Oei as a respected elder whose values and character are found in the leadership and public service of his children and urged the family to draw strength from the positive legacy and values the deceased left behind.

He offered his thanks to God for granting the family strength through the time of mourning and prayed that they will find strength in their time of loss.

“We pray that the Almighty grants the family peace, comfort, and endurance during this difficult and trying moment”.

Other leaders accompanying Murkomen also sent messages of condolences and urged the members of the community to come out in support of the bereaved family. They stressed the significance of unity, compassion, and collective support in times of grief, reiterating that such times call upon shared humanity and togetherness.
