Anti-corruption Sleuths order former Turkana county government CEC To surrender pending arrest

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption commission has ordered The former Turkana County Executive Committee member for , Benson Lokwang’ to surrender himself to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission(EACC).
Addressing the Media in Eldoret Japeth Baithalu the North-rift regional manager EACC says Mr Lokwang is facing charges of forgery of University documents ,providing false information to EACC officers and deception.
“I would urge Lokwang’ to show up from wherever he is hiding and allow the court to make the ruling on his offencesOur officers are on the lookout for him, ” said Baithalu,
The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), ordered for his arrest after a lengthy investigation into the forgery claims.
Baithalu also noted that Turkana County Governor,Jeremiah Lomurkai is expected to appear before the Eldoret Court on 7 on November facing similar charges of forgery of Academic certificates.
“I recognize the governor’s bold move to appear before a court of law and recommend the same boldness to Lokwang’ so that his case be be heard and determined expeditiously by the Courts” Noted Baithalu.
