Eldoret:Police officers launch investigations into the murder of a middle aged man!

Police officers in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county have launched investigations following the murder of a middle aged man.
The young man was lynched by a mob at West Indies estate in Eldoret On Tuesday.
According to Edward Masibo,The O.C.P.D Turbo sub-county the young man is suspected to have snatched a mobile phone from a woman who raised the alarm forcing area residents to corner the suspect who beat him to his death,
“Police Officers from Huruma Police Station rushed to the scene to save the man from the violent and angry mob,The names of the suspects involved in the murder of the suspect have since been forwarded to sleuths from the directorate of criminal investigations who have commenced investigations,”
The police boss further noted that the suspect died while receiving treatment at the Moi teaching and referral Hospital ,and that police will ensure speedy investigations.
“He was quickly rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital by officers attached to Huruma police station but unfortunately the suspect succumbed to his injuries ,we assure his family that justice will be served” Opined Masibo.
The family of the deceased which is in anguish and dysphoria has threatened to hold demonstrations demanding justice for their kin who they claim was murdered in a case of mistaken identity.
