Teso South MP Attends Launch of Modern Busia Stadium with President Ruto

Today, Mary Emaase Otucho, the Teso South Member of Parliament, attended the Modern Busia Stadium opening ceremony with President William Samoei Ruto. The stadium serves as a vital project for sports development in the region.
The facility will create a key space for local talent identification and development which will enhance current operations at Asiriam Sports Complex. Otucho explained to the people at the event that sports facilities serve as a means to empower young people and create pathways for their athletic success.
She expressed pride in Teso South’s inclusion in the country’s broader development plans, noting that the stadium will not only help develop sporting talent but also promote stronger community involvement.
