A woman in Vihiga living in fear after several life threatening attempts

Months after mysterious disappearance of her 1 year old grandchild in a Nairobi Church, Jennifer Kageha of Budaywa village in Vihiga County is still coming into terms with the disappearance of her child that has left her psychologically disturbed.
Two weeks ago, Kageha was suddenly woken up by her nephew’s unpleasant cough only to find out her house was set on fire at the ewe hours of the night by unknown people. She hurriedly tried to put it off luckily enough salvaging the situation.
” Hata two weeks hazijaisha. Nilikuwa Kwa nyumba usiku na mjukuu wangu mwingine na mtoto wa my brother. Nikasikia wanakohoa. Kuamka nikapata moshi umejaa Kwa nyumba, mtu anajarbu kunichomea Kwa nyumba.” She said.
She says after contacting the area assistant chief, the damage was assessed pending further investigation by authorities.
On 10th Friday, Kageha woke up yet to another sad day. Her animals, three of her dairy cows, were stolen. Robbers made their way into the house and drove them away while the family was asleep.
” Kuamkia Friday, mifugo wangu watatu waliibwa. Niliripoti askari wakaja kudhibitisha tukio Hilo Kisha wakanieleza nisaidie kuwatafut mifugo hao na kupiga ripoti kwenye kituo pindi nitakaposikia waliko.” She added.
The mother of four has lamented over the state of insecurity in the area calling upon relevant authorities to move with speed and curb the high levels of insecurities being recorded.
Kageha is currently living in fear unaware what will befall her next.
