The Public Service changes which affect Kenya’s Foreign Affairs operations were confirmed by State House Chief of Staff Felix K. Koskei on Friday. The announcement named Kosiom Frank Ole Kibelenkya as the nominated Ambassador to Copenhagen of Denmark.
The latest operational changes according to Koskei involve appointing staff to newly established diplomatic missions and replacing staff members whose service period has concluded. The changes include the appointment of three new deputy ambassadorial officials who will occupy their new positions.
Elias Bare Shill has been nominated as Deputy Ambassador to Mogadishu, Somalia. Dr. Joseph Warui has been reassigned from his Deputy Ambassador position in Moscow, Russia to serve as the new Deputy Ambassador in the Russian capital. The nomination of Ambassador Mohammed Hussein Nur as Deputy Ambassador to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania has been announced.
The Cabinet approved new missions which led to the nominations while also creating a need to fill vacant positions resulting from diplomats completing their assignments.
