Rotich made headlines nationally after undertaking an extraordinary journey of over 405 kilometers on his Mamba bicycle to attend an aspirants’ meeting at State House. The five-day journey became difficult for him because he had to consume only basic meals that included ugali and vegetables. His remarkable achievement demonstrated both his physical capabilities and his commitment to serve his community through public service.

During the handover ceremony MP Sudi recognized Rotich as a young leader who demonstrates New leadership through his ability to overcome challenges. “Nehemiah’s journey reflects passion, commitment, and the spirit of service. He has proven that determination combined with vision can help him achieve his goals despite his limited resources. Sudi continued his statement by giving Rotich a motorbike that would help him move around and deliver his services to the Koitugum community.

After receiving the gift Rotich thanked MP Sudi from his heart while he promised to use the motorbike for political and business purposes. “This support is more than a gift; it is motivation to continue serving my community. He dedicated himself to improving Koitugum’s vulnerable families while ensuring that youth and community needs received proper representation in his future work.

Local residents and political leaders praised Sudi’s gesture, noting that the motorbike would significantly enhance Rotich’s capacity to reach remote areas, engage constituents, and implement community projects effectively.

MP Sudi reiterated that youth empowerment remains a cornerstone of his leadership agenda. “Our communities need dedicated, hardworking leaders who face challenges head-on. By supporting Nehemiah, we are investing in Koitugum’s future and encouraging other young aspirants to pursue leadership with dedication and vision,” he said.

The motorbike gift will improve Rotich’s visibility among voters before the 2027 elections because it shows him as a candidate who works hard and connects with his community.
