President William Ruto has underscored the government’s commitment to implementing reforms aimed at improving school performance.

During a recent visit to Nairobi School, Ruto highlighted the ongoing construction of critical facilities aimed at filling existing gaps in the education system.

The President emphasized that the government’s goal is to provide Kenyan children with the tools and opportunities they need to excel in society and contribute to the country’s transformation.

He reiterated that education plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the nation, and that efforts are being made to ensure that schools are well-equipped to meet the demands of modern learning.

At Nairobi School, Ruto inspected the ongoing construction of a state-of-the-art Science Complex, two new dormitories, and eight additional classrooms.

These developments are part of a broader initiative to expand educational infrastructure across the country, ensuring that schools have the capacity to accommodate an increasing number of students.

The President also revealed that similar projects are underway at other prominent institutions, including Lenana School, State House Girls’ High School, and Jamhuri High School.

These schools are set to benefit from the construction of new facilities designed to boost enrolment, particularly for students from Nairobi County.

The government’s investment in educational infrastructure aligns with the broader objective of expanding access to quality education for all students, regardless of their background or geographical location.

By improving facilities, the government aims to create a conducive environment for learning and ensure that more students can access education at institutions of excellence.

In his remarks, President Ruto stressed the importance of education as a driver of Kenya’s growth and development, noting that an empowered and well-educated generation would be key to the nation’s economic and social progress.

“We are overseeing reforms in our schools to fill existing gaps and ensure that performance improves,” Ruto said. “Our goal is to give our children the opportunity to be the best that they can be in society and contribute to the transformation of Kenya.”

The ongoing construction projects are expected to improve the quality of education by providing students with modern learning spaces and essential facilities.

With the expansion of schools like Nairobi School, Lenana, State House Girls, and Jamhuri High School, the government is taking significant steps to accommodate more students, ensuring that educational opportunities are accessible to a wider population across the country.
