Residents of Shebusie village in Malimali Sub-location Ikolamani Constituency, woke up to a rude shock after a 34 year old man was reported to have committed suicide he after his wife denied him his conjugal rights.
The 34 year old man Calistus Kagura a father of three is said to have drunk poison after the disagreement with the wife,
However according to the family members led by Florence Khatoro and Ekuri Alukhaba the deceased has had a bumpy relationship with the wife often leading to domestic quarrels ,
“They have had domestic issues every other time, but the fact the wife decided to leave him is suspected to have forced him to commit suicide”Said Florence
It is alleged that the wife of the deceased had been complaining to her late husband over disappearances of her money from her small business.
Area residents have urged business people to be cautions to whom they are selling some of the poisonous drugs,
“Many people are suffering from mental illnesses such as depression it’s only fair that the business people consider thoughtfully to whom they are selling some poisonous drugs”Said one of the villagers.
