Eldoret Police Arrest Middle aged man who led Demonstrations against First Choice recruitment and Consultancy agency

Police in Eldoret have arrested a middle-aged man suspected to have led demonstrations against the first-choice recruitment and consultancy agency at the city plaza building.
The middle aged man who was armed with a hammer is said to have incited other youth while trying to break into the First choice offices, claiming they have been conned by the agency.
First choice agency is accused of promising hundreds of youth Job opportunities In Qatar ahead of the world cup next month.
In September this year the youth stormed the Uasingishu county commissioner’s office, requesting governments interventions into their woes.
The agency has however denied conning the youth and cited visa processing delays in Qatar.
“We wish to deploy those recruited by this agency immediately however Visa processing is an exercise carried in the respective countries and we have no control about that,however we are trying our very best ,so far a majority of the complaining youth have since travelled abroad” said Judy Chepchirchir, the managing director of first choice.

According the applicants, they were paying between Kenya shillings 40 000 and
200 000.
