Woman Arrested for Allegedly Killing Husband in Domestic Dispute in Huruma, Turbo Subcounty

Police officers in Turbo Subcounty, Uasin Gishu, have launched an investigation into a murder that took place on Saturday night in Huruma Estate. A woman is suspected of killing her husband under unclear circumstances following a domestic dispute in their bedroom, reportedly involving a disagreement over money.
According to sources, the couple, who are known to be involved in the sale of illicit brews in the Maranatha area, are believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the incident.

The suspect, who was arrested at the scene, is currently being held at Central Police Station for questioning. “The suspect is in custody, and we are working to gather more information to determine what exactly transpired that night,” said a police officer from Turbo Sub county .
The body of the deceased has been transported to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
Neighbors and those familiar with the couple expressed their disbelief at the news. “We never expected something like this to happen. They were known for their business, but it’s sad to hear that things escalated to this point,” said one of their neighbors.
