Senator Mandago Leads Efforts to Address Delays in Medical Insurance Claims Processing for Teachers and Police Officers

Senator Jackson Mandago, also the chairman of the Senate Health Committee, Thursday observed Delays in processing medical insurance claims for Teachers and Police officers by the Medical Administrators Kenya Limited continues to affect service delivery in the two critical institutions.

Senator Mandago who led the Senate Health Committee in engaging various stakeholders, including the Kenya Association of Private Hospitals, Christian Health Association of Kenya, Rural Private Hospitals Association of Kenya, Medical Administrators Kenya CEO, representatives from teacher unions, Teachers Service Commission, insurance regulators, and National Police Service Commission, discussed solutions aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.

Mandago emphasized, “We are committed to streamlining processes and ensuring prompt healthcare access for all.”
