Mitsubishi Estate Named Official Supporter of Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027
The 2027 tournament will feature 52 matches over six weeks. World Rugby will announce the match schedule and ticket prices on 3 February 2026, with an exclusive two-week ticket presale beginning on 18 February 2026.

World Rugby has designated Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. as an Official Supporter for the upcoming Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027, which strengthens the tournament’s commercial partnerships that are developing before the event starts in Australia from 1 October to 13 November 2027.
The deal between both parties continues their partnership which began when Mitsubishi Estate became an Official Sponsor for Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan and their ongoing support for the Japan National Team which started in 2020. The company, which ranks among Japan’s largest real estate developers, has earned recognition for its dedication to sustainable development through urban projects that benefit local communities while establishing strong ties with rugby’s core values of integrity and passion and solidarity and discipline and respect.
Mitsubishi Estate has significantly advanced rugby in Japan by organizing public viewing events and community programmes along with its Marunouchi 15-chome PROJECT. The new partnership between the two organizations aims to improve fan engagement worldwide as Rugby World Cup 2027 introduces 24 teams to compete in seven different host cities.
World Rugby Chief Revenue Officer Michel Poussau expressed his approval of the partnership because he believes that Mitsubishi Estate’s ongoing support demonstrates rugby’s power to bring people together for communal activities. Mitsubishi Estate President and CEO Atsushi Nakajima expressed the company’s pride to support another World Cup because their business mission focuses on creating prosperous and thriving communities.
The tournament in 2027 will include 52 matches which will take place during a period of six weeks. World Rugby will release the match schedule and ticket pricing information on 3 February 2026, while ticket presale access will begin two weeks after that on 18 February 2026.
