The North-Rift National Show Kitale opens Today with over 100 exhibitors

The North-Rift National Show Kitale opens  today, 26th – 29th October with agricultural experts calling for a paradigm shift in the way agriculture is being conducted in the country.

Speaking to the press at the Kitale ASK grounds,The chairman Fredrick Kemboi has asked both the National and County governments to come out with plans that will strengthen the Agriculture  sector in order to enable farmers grow  enough food for the country.

Kemboi has called on the need to curb agricultural land fragmentation in order to allow for mechanized large scale farming.

The Kitale ASK show has attracted over 100 exhibitors where farmers will be trained on new farming technologies that enhances food production.
