Naivas is stepping up efforts to strengthen customer value through investment in its workforce, competitive pricing and community engagement across Kenya.
Speaking in Kisumu during the climax of the retailer’s Nikwetu campaign, Naivas Chief Executive Officer Andreas von Palesky said the company’s 12,000 employees remain central to improving customer service and productivity.
Von Palesky said investing in employees enables the retailer to improve service delivery while creating a better shopping experience for customers.
The supermarket chain is also using fresh produce, everyday offers and cultural campaigns to strengthen its relationship with customers and respond to their changing needs.
The Nikwetu campaign has provided Naivas with an opportunity to connect with customers through activities that celebrate local communities and culture.
The retailer’s strategy brings together employee development, operational productivity and pricing as part of its broader customer value proposition.
Naivas is seeking to use the approach to strengthen customer loyalty while supporting business growth and creating long-term value.
The company operates a network of supermarkets across Kenya and has continued to expand its presence in different parts of the country.
The focus on fresh produce and everyday offers comes as retailers face increased pressure to provide competitive prices while maintaining service standards.
Naivas said community engagement remains an important part of its efforts to understand customers and build stronger connections with the communities in which it operates.
