The Broad-Based Government has confirmed its dedication to serving the public through its ongoing work on the 10-Point Agenda which contains its essential duties towards the people. The administration states that the agenda serves as their primary framework to tackle national issues while maintaining national progress toward economic stability and social growth.

The government program includes national unity promotion as one of its essential elements. Leaders state that they are working to unite people from various regions and political views through ongoing efforts which will build national unity among citizens. The administration believes that unity serves as the foundation for both national sustainable development and long-term stability.

The government has made two main economic goals its top priority by first trying to stabilize the economy and second trying to reduce financial burdens on families. The government has enacted inflation control measures which form the base of their wider strategy to decrease living expenses. Officials believe that reducing inflation brings essential benefits by lowering prices of essential items which people need to buy throughout the nation.

The agricultural sector continues to receive increased focus because it remains important for national economic development. The administration has established programs which will help farmers by providing them with modern resources and farming practices along with better agricultural inputs to raise their productivity. The agricultural sector will achieve stronger food security results which will also create better income prospects for its workers through these initiatives.

The Social Health Authority enables the government to provide more people with healthcare services through its ongoing health service expansion efforts. The initiative is intended to ensure that more citizens can access affordable and reliable medical care. Health authorities consider health coverage expansion to be a fundamental element which will enhance public health throughout the entire population.

The government has made infrastructure development a primary area of focus for its operations. The country is undergoing major development projects which will establish new road networks and critical public infrastructure to enhance transportation links and drive economic development. The projects will promote economic growth throughout the regions while creating better business conditions for enterprises and local populations.

The administration works to create more job opportunities for young people through its current employment programs. Government programs work with various sectors to create more job opportunities while they teach young people essential skills for today’s job market.

The government has identified devolution strengthening as a critical area which requires its ongoing attention. Leaders expect that increasing funding for county governments will enable local administrations to provide better service delivery while they fulfill their community needs.

The government has started police service reforms which build on their work from previous demonstration incidents to create improved security and justice systems for the country. The package includes financial support for people who suffered losses during demonstrations. The government asked the Kenya National Human Rights Commission to draft a protection law proposal which will safeguard protestor rights and safety during demonstrations.
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Joint Parliamentary Group held discussions about these issues during their meeting at the Kenya International Convention Centre in Nairobi. The leaders established a parliamentary broad-based mediation committee which would work to establish new governmental powers during their meeting. The committee will focus on accelerating the remaining legislative processes which were previously presented by the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO).
