The Government of Kenya, in partnership with the World Bank, is once again opening doors of opportunity for young Kenyans through the NYOTA Program (National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement). This life-changing initiative is designed to empower youth by creating jobs, expanding skills, and fostering innovation across the country.

‎As part of its second phase, the NYOTA Program invites eligible youth to apply and become part of a nationwide movement dedicated to unlocking potential and building a more inclusive and innovative economy.

‎What is the NYOTA Program?

‎The NYOTA Program is a youth empowerment and capacity-building initiative that focuses on helping young people who may not have progressed beyond secondary school education. The program offers training, mentorship, and entrepreneurship support to enable youth to acquire practical skills, start businesses, and secure sustainable employment.

‎Eligibility Criteria

‎To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:
‎1. Be a Kenyan citizen
‎2. Be aged 18–29 years, or 18–35 years for persons with disabilities (registered under NCPWD)
‎3. Have not gone beyond Form Four level of education

‎This ensures that the program benefits those who need it most hardworking young Kenyans seeking a fair chance to grow their skills and livelihoods.

‎ How to Apply

‎Applying is simple and accessible to everyone:
‎1. Dial the *USSD code 254# on your mobile phone.
‎2. Select the option for the NYOTA Project.
‎3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete and submit your application.

‎6th – 11th October 2025
