According to Philemon Rutto he said by promoting Sports it will help combat lifestyle diseases which is killing Millions of people.

Speaking at Eldoret High Courts Rutto said that they have opted to support the Judiciary team with the attire so that it will be easy for them to participate in sports .

Some of these lifestyle diseases that are not contagious include a Smoking, Obesity ,drinking excessive Alcohol among other that can easily be prevented if we excessive every day.
Ruto added that Sports help to keep diseases at bay including Mental illness which affect most of the people without their knowledge.

He added that by speaking out and playing games together it eases ones pressure because of interacting and sharing our struggles.

Echoing his sentiments Presiding Judge Justice Reuben Nyakundi said that the Judiciary has set aside the Sports day to enable the judiciary team compete with other staff which has played a great role in their well-being as opposed to winning.

A spot Check by the Media reveal that it is sad that many lifestyle diseases not only affect adult but even school going children who sit down and watch Television set ,playing video games and playing on phone without doing any excercise putting their life at risk.

When these kind of diseases affect young children especially the youth who are in their productive age group they end up being a burden to family members and the Society at large
