Preparations for Chepsaita Cross Country Race in Uasin Gishu County are on top gear .
The event scheduled for 6 December will be of its on kind with these years theme being running for a course.
The official led by Coach Robert Ngesirei said that the preparations àre at 80 & said they are trying to ensure the Race. Meets international standards.
Speaking in Turbo where the event will be held The event Patron Farouk Kibet said the event will not only benefit people who come from the area but even Athletes from across the country.
Kibet said they are making a few changes in the field where the race will take place and promised to install solar panel that will beautify the event saying running doesn’t need to be boring .
The president aid said also said that they are trying their level best to ensure that in few coming years the Race should attract international runners from outside country.
A spot check by the media reveal that the government is committed to support the young Athletes saying the country has over 52. Training which offer them the skills required.
He concluded that they intend they intend to build a sport Academy in the area saying that Altheletes have painted the name of the country internationally.
