Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reaffirmed his commitment and affection for the club as the 2024/25 season nears its dramatic conclusion.
Speaking to the media ahead of a crucial final stretch, Ancelotti expressed his deep appreciation for the opportunity to lead one of the most iconic football clubs in the world.
“I love being here,” the Italian tactician said. “Hopefully, this will last as long as possible.”
Despite the immense pressure that comes with managing a club of Real Madrid’s stature, Ancelotti appeared calm and content, describing his current spell at the club as a “honeymoon.”
He admitted that while the expectations are sky-high, he is thoroughly enjoying his time in the Spanish capital.
“This is still the honeymoon,” Ancelotti smiled. “I’m very happy. A lot of pressure, true, but we’re close to the end of the season and we’re focused on finishing strong.”
Under Ancelotti’s leadership, Real Madrid remains in contention for both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League titles. The experienced manager, who returned to Madrid in 2021 for a second spell after a successful tenure between 2013 and 2015, has brought stability, tactical discipline, and an attacking flair back to the Bernabéu.
Ancelotti’s calming presence and deep tactical knowledge have won him the trust of both the dressing room and the club’s board. His man-management skills have also been praised by senior players, many of whom credit him for creating a positive, winning atmosphere at the club.
