Keiyo South MP Installs Every Household with DSTV as World Cup Begins

Residents of Keiyo South constituency in Elgeyo Marakwet County have a reason to smile during this World Cup season that kicks off Sunday.
The tournament will take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
Keiyo South MP Gideon Kimaiyo has partnered with Multichoice to ensure that football fans enjoy the highly-publicized tournament.
“In partnership with DSTV Multichoice, my fellow youth in Keiyo South will be able to watch this year’s World Cup in the comfort of their seats.
In his own words, he went on:
“Mzigo iko kwa lorry ikicome. (The consignment is on its way coming),” said the vocal politician.
Kimaiyo also promised to ensure that every homestead in Keiyo South is installed with DSTV.
“Indeed, this is a promise to my lovely people of Keiyo South even as I continue serving them as their legislator,” the MP said after securing the deal with Multichoice.
On their part, DSTV said they were ready to televise this year’s World Cup, which is the first to be held in the Arab world, and the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.
“We are excited knowing that our customers will catch all the 64 matches of Qatar 2022 LIVE on DStv,” the company announced.
Kimaiyo has been empowering his constituents, including ensuring that every homestead is connected to clean and safe drinking water.
