Uasin Gishu Secondary School Sports Association Chairman Patrick Kosgei has asserted the government’s support towards the high school students participating in the regional sports tournament.
“We are confident our students will do well, in the past our badminton league managed to reach the East African tournaments. Therefore we shall offer them all the support they require.” Patrick Kosgei stated.
He assured their safety, good accommodation and enough funding to cater for their daily expenses through their five day stay in Laikipia County.
Soy Sub-county director of Education Mr.Obiri, encouraged the players to continue exploring their talents to the fullest as they pursue their studies since a majority of people make a living out of it.
“Uasin Gishu is a county of champions, and is well known for producing great athletes but we are ready to empower our children to become the best in a variety of sports.” Obiri Shared.
He signs out saying that the county is well represented in the music festivals that are currently ongoing in Narok County.
