The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret has issued a public notice regarding the intention to dispose of unclaimed bodies. The hospital has reported the presence of 36 unclaimed bodies at its mortuary, and it is requesting that families of these deceased individuals collect them within seven days.

This notice is in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Public Health Act CAP 242 and the Public Health Mortuaries Rules of 1991. Among the unclaimed bodies are three unidentified African males from the Juniorate area, Baharini Eldoret, and Neuro, respectively. Despite fingerprint analyses conducted by the National Registration Bureau, their identities remain unknown.

Additionally, four male bodies from Chemalal, Baharini, Maili Nne, and Kipkenyo could not be identified through fingerprinting due to decomposition.
