Eldoret:An abandoned 1 year old mutilated by rats,3 rescued by neighbours!
The young child with his other three siblings are reported to have been abandoned by their Mother after she was unable to provide food for them.

A one year and two months old baby is nursing serious injuries at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital after he was attacked by what is suspected to be rats that mutilated parts of his body .
The young child with his other three siblings are reported to have been abandoned by their Mother after she was unable to provide food for them.
Residents of Sungura village ,Huruma ward Uasin Gishu County were perturbed by the painful cry of the children and were forced to break into their house only to find one of the young twins having soiled himself and with some serious injuries to the thighs and two missing fingers that are likely to have been devoured by rats .
The residents managed to buy food for the starving children and the young one has since been admitted at the MTRH where he is undergoing treatment .
“In the morning I was told by my neighbors about the incident ,people had milled around the house ,we found the children in a bad state ,I acted by taking the child to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment ,” said Mr Barmasai, a village Elder.
